Hi Res

The last page of this ongoing story begins with a collection of "Related Stories" and ends with "The Guestbook". In between you'll find "Published Works", "Memorial Tributes", "Photo Archives", "The Poet's Corner", "The Semichi Theatre" and links galore. There's a little something for everyone. Take your time and check it all out. If you do, you will learn a lot more about who we are and what we did during the "Cold War" with our beloved airplanes.

"Related Stories" contains many very interesting, informative and heartfelt stories submitted by staff members, crewmembers, maintenance troops, tech reps and veterans of Shemya. Whatever you decide to click on, make sure you check out "Tales From The Top" by Ed Steffen, "Lisa Ann Adventure" by Ron Strong, "Raven's Nest" by Bob Brown and "The Ides of March", a riveting story of survival by Dr. Kerry A. Crooks. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

In my opinion, "The Guestbook" is the Heart & Soul of this website in that it helps povide closure for those in need and provides a place for feedback from readers like you. It's also a good source for making contact with friends, family members and veterans. Unfortunately, "The Guestbook" is closed as of 30 September 2013 due to the closing of my website provider (MSN TV aka WebTV) on 30 September 2013. If you have a story or comment that you would like to share with me please email it to KingdonAviation@gmail.com and I will respond.

Thank You,
King Hawes

Hi Res

Thanks for taking the time to read my story about Rivet Ball, Rivet Amber and Shemya. I hope you found it interesting and informative. I also hope it provided some closure for those in need. Special thanks go to everyone that contributed personal stories, photos and guestbook entries. Without your contributions this website would not be what it is.

Sincerely,
King Hawes (Bio)
